The Weiss story

and the meaning of Le Haut Chocolat

It all began in 1882 with Eugène Weiss, creator and pioneer in the Art of the Praliné and the Art of Blending. He opened his first boutique under the Weiss name in Saint-Etienne, a center for chocolate production, where he invented Le Haut Chocolat®. Today, Weiss masters the entire production chain at our workshops, continuing the traditions and artisanal expertise he established, and continuing to innovate with and for our customers.

Weiss selects only the finest ingredients to produce high-quality chocolates. An eye for detail, French elegance, and an audacious yet skilled approach to creativity make Weiss the brand of reference for professionals and gourmet consumers the world over.
